This blog documents my frustration with trying to get Edinburgh Council to empty the street bins where we live in the New Town. The street bins outside our flat fill up but unfortunately they are never emptied on a regular basis, so we constantly have to call Edinburgh's 'rubbish team' to ask them to empty the bins.
It has now been 5 days since the last collection, and we now have a festering mass of dog crap, beer cans, food etc..
Hopefully I can post daily pictures of the bin. The goal is to get the Council to do their job.
